Recalling the governor won't pass anyway, but Elder wouldn't be elected even if GN were fired. I just don't see CA voters voting for him. Paffrath and the other Dems will consolidate beforehand.

This is a by-mail election, like our last one. About 4 million people have already sent in their ballots: any consolidation or co-operation among candidates at this date is both unlikely and futile.
