Not excusing their behavior, but it wasn't even a good shot location to have traffic going behind her like that, much less keeping in mind people in this country are stupid at shit at this point in time.

(6,446 posts)she's lucky the home team seems to have won. At least everyone seemed in a good mood. It can get pretty violent when the games over and you're headed to the car after a few too many beers. I steer clear of most ballgames. Though some crowds are just all around genial (I'm smiling at you, Mets fans!). I'm not really sure what she expected being so close to the crowd exiting a game seemingly all at once. She might not yet have her "read the room" sense developed...

(21,312 posts)I bet anything she would have added a how great it was for stadiums to be packed again with screaming fans.
What did she or her producer expect? The narrative is how great it is to have thousands of screaming fans back in stadiums. Heck, my church doesn't mandate masks and Sunday I only saw 4 masks in church. We're back baby, 1,000 Covid deaths a day because people are afraid to buck the narrative. Thank god Pa. mandated masks in school.

Get a YouTube channel if you are that attention deprived.

(50,949 posts)I have seen countless men reporting from stadiums and none of them are harassed like she was.
Also note that every woman who walked past her somehow managed to do it without touching her or yelling at her.

(50,949 posts)because they are southern?
Because the reactions in this thread overwhelmingly criticize the woman rather than the men harassing her.
Because boys will be boys, nudge nudge, wink wink, amiright? And this little gal is just asking for it!

(15,315 posts)Cute the outrage over south bashing. Funny how that works.

(50,949 posts)It was a REALLY bad location pick - of all these men you note, any of them every shoot it in the traffic flow in the concourse after the game with thousands of liquored up fans streaming by?
If no one stopped to be a drunken clown, it was still a really bad place to shoot just based on having all the traffic going through the background, be it a man, woman, goat or whatever.
Scrivener7
(50,949 posts)a pedestrian traffic flow.
It's one of thise rules. She didn't follow that rule, therefore they were right to paw her, yell in her face, and handle her equipment.
Again, the rule only applies to men. Every one of the women passing her managed, somehow, to keep their hands off her even though they, too, were walking by.
But if that woman is going to stand where men are passing, she's asking for it.
Because boys will be boys, and woe betide anyone in their path.
OK ...

(512 posts)But Im afraid this is not confined to the US. This is nowhere near the worst Ive seen. Ive seen drunk soccer fans (football) in England take this behavior to absolute frightening levels. Poor girl.
