Pelosi and Schumer have enormously difficult jobs they really do and its easy to disparage them, to criticize them, but they have no margins with which to deal with, Mr. Sanders said in an interview. Its not a job that I envy, a job that I could do for three minutes.

(8,291 posts)8. If the president was a legislator in charge of the legislators, I would agree
But they are an executive office in charge of multiple executive offices. Not an easy job. But certainly not herding cats.

Of the 50 Senators in the Democratic Caucus:
35 vote "in line with Biden's position" 100% of the time.
14 others are tied for second.
1 stands alone at 50th.

Seems a lot of people in this Congress have thoughts of superiority. And I'll be totally honest in saying how annoyed I was when there was talk by some that Jayapal should take over the Speaker's job. Seriously...it took Nancy P. to finally come in. put her foot down and clean up the infighting mess.
