Major League Baseball owns less than 20% of Rawlings and says the decision to close the Miken facility was made independently.
"MLB does not have a role in the day to day business operations of Rawlings, particularly with respect to items that are not made for MLB use," a spokesman for the league told CBS News. (30,715 posts)2. Over the past ten years,
we have done a lot of remodeling and refurbishing of our home. We tied ourselves in knots trying to get furniture, carpets, mattresses, etc., made in the US. For the most part, we succeeded. Some of it was more expensive and custom made. Well, we will only be doing this once before we die.
I married a union man, too.
