"Tough on crime" and "law and order" need to be scrapped from our political vocabularies

For 5 years now, we heard Republicans trumpet those things and for 5 years, we saw Republicans through their buffoonery, incompetence, malice, or a combination of those three things, they themselves ended up on the wrong end of the justice system instead of just the poor and minorities.

And what was their response...

Suddenly law and order made a mistake. Suddenly you can't be tough on them, tough on their crimes.

So when a Republican says "law and order"...
You say "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

When a Republican says "tough on crime"...
You say "Good one, that's a good parody of a Republican politician!"
