Derek Delgaudio and "In and of Itself"

Ring a bell with anyone?

He's a long story, you might check him out if interested. He is an illusionist, performed in NY and elsewhere for many years between @ 2015-2021. I learned of him on John Heilman's "Hell and HighWater" podcast.

Here are a couple things he said on the pod:

While Dems play by the rules, Rs aren't even in this game; they are pure Machiavelli. Ruthless, without morals or ethics. I have framed this as they have no shame.

TFG exercises his control through mass hypnosis. He repeats simple slogans, much in the way a cult leader does. It's beyond fascism, it's a cult.

I don't know, so, what can we do about it?

not all that long ago. It’s a moving experience. I didn’t know he was on Heilman’s pod. I’ll check it out.

You’re 100% correct…we’re dealing with a cult of zombies and Dems seem to spend a lot of energy on rules and process while R’s are ravaging democracy and looting the country.

Neat that we share this experience! How the HELL does he pull it off? Maybe it doesn't matter. I was so surprised to hear him and Heilman be overtly political in the pod, so interesting, his perspective! He ties it to the whole "identity" issue that his show is based on.

You are right on, I think, in your observation. WHAT THE F CAN WE DO? HOW do we deal with "mass hypnosis"? I think organized religion laid the groundwork for this.

Honestly, I'm terrified how this ends.

Or does it end at all? I was talking to an old friend of mine who is a retired biologist from the Bureau of Land Management…we were talking about climate change, the pandemic and the unvaccinated etc…he was saying that the only way we might get through this is via a massive die off of humanity. This guy is a hard core democrat, a scientist and not hyperbolic in any way and this is what he said. He acknowledged that his statement was “out there” but it was something he was actively thinking about. I must admit I was very surprised and then it made me wonder…is that how it ends?

to me. I mean, seems old mother earth has exceeded her carrying capacity.

I mean, wouldn't this be extinction? To a degree? Like the South Puget Sound orca pod I read of today? 😢

We cannot outsmart nature. It is folly to think we can.

Seriously. Shamefully. Deplorably. So what can decent, honorable loyal Americans do?
