There is literally no excuse whatsoever for Californians not to be voting. Every single voter got a ballot mailed to them, with return postage, in plenty of time. At some point, being a citizen means doing at least the bare minimum to be informed and vote. The ballot has at most two things to vote for (the recall itself and a candidate in the resulting election if the recall wins). It is impossible that the entire process of opening, reading, filling out the ballot, and putting in the mail would take more than 30 minutes and should take more like 10. The is literally the least a person can do as a citizen. Californians who don't vote and get stuck with a gov they don't like need to get a mirror when they want to cast blame.

(9,011 posts)When we have a lot of issues I just set aside a few hours or more if it takes that to research and vote. It really isn't hard to give voice to what matters.
