If you've ever wondered ...

... why Republican voters don't take offence at having their intelligence constantly insulted by their own party leaders, it's because they don't have any intelligence to insult - and furthermore, Republican voters are actually proud of that fact.

The Republican voters (except the top 1percent who just want low taxes) want leaders like themselves, someone they can ‘have a beer with’ ie someone as stupid as they are.

a brilliant man, with a Ph.D. In biology who always said he wanted a leader smarter than he was... Well, almost nine years out of the last twenty isn't too bad I guess.
