Fox Host Claims 'Only Thing' That Will Save Newsom Is 'Voter Fraud'

It is just a matter of time before Alex Jones gets his own time slot on Fox News, though by now he is a bit redundant of folks like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity.

My take is that if they lose, Republicans will try to wait out the 2022 Gubernatorial election and instead use false claims of election fraud to take another shot at 2023 recall in order to try to limit having to actually respond to voters.

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren pushed forth a growing Fox News narrative on Tuesday that California Gov. Gavin Newsom will only survive the California recall by rigging the election, outright claiming that the “only thing” that will save him is “voter fraud.”

Months after former President Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was “stolen” from him culminated in the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, Republicans and right-wing media have continued to latch onto baseless election conspiracies to not only justify Trump’s loss but now to preemptively explain away future GOP losses.

With the California recall only a week away and recent polls showing Newsom now enjoys a comfortable double-digit lead, Lahren insisted on Tuesday’s broadcast of Outnumbered that the governor was actually in serious trouble of losing.

“Yes, Gavin Newsom has raised a whole lot of money from teachers’ unions and special interests and tech, but that money is not going to save him,” she declared, before quickly going down the conspiratorial rabbit hole.

I started reading Stop the Steal memes in various articles and tweets. Which means, of course, the Republican recall people knew what the internal numbers were showing and that the enthusiasm meme they pushed could only get them so far. They tried to out crazy the crazy. And now that they're facing a loss?

It's gotta be voter fraud. Because that's all the GOP has any more: The Big Lie on steroids, a place where it's dark with outrage every frigging second.

Even Republican relatives and friends I have acknowledge Newsom has this in the bag. And the recall probably made it harder for the next GOP candidate because now he's flush with even more cash.
