KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The FBI and Knoxville Police Department's Internal Affairs Unit examined a veteran KPD investigator's Facebook account this spring over concerns he participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and violated his department's social media policy, records show.

Both agencies cleared 27-year veteran Organized Crime Unit Investigator Bernhard "Chip" Braeuner. But posts referencing running over protesters and alluding to "hunting the left" raised concerns among members of Knoxville's Police Advisory and Review Committee.

"Some of those posts seem to advocate physical harm and/or death of people who had differing views," said LaKenya Middlebrook, PARC's then-executive director, at an Aug. 26 meeting.

A KPD spokesperson said Braeuner was not available for comment.

The department's Internal Affairs Unit found no violation of the department's social networking policy, which prohibits employees from making posts that impede the performance of duties, impair harmony among coworkers or negatively impact the public perception of the department.

I would think they should be involved in this as it is a violation of civil rights.

as well as himself.

Assuming any woman would be wretched enough to want to be associated with a piece of garbage like him, let alone, bear his spawn.

If that's not okay, then how is it okay for him to advocate the same by hunting the left?

1. People who advocate murder 1 or 2
2. People who advocate actions contrary to the Constitution of the United States?

I wonder in Officer Braeuner has ever been to a rally at Lake Travis, TX?

We packed our guns just in case we met some libbruls
We packed some booze just in case they didn't show
We packed some books just to show we're educated
Don't ask us what is in them, we can't read so we don't know
