Do away with recall altogether and let legislators impeach if wrongdoing or dereliction of duties of a governor occurs, like the majority of sane states.

California has a far too prevalent system of “direct democracy” initiatives. Why bother to have a legislature at all? Most proposition initiatives are either bullshit or harmful, and most all are confusing or opaque to the average voter.
