This law is pure sickness. It can't be constitutional. Our "Supreme Court" is a pathetic joke. The can of worms they opened is as big as Alaska, and Texas combined.
But guess what.
Texas just stepped on 165 million uteruses.
Ouch.
I don't think this is going to work out for the Republicans the way they think it should.
Republicans just caught the car, and bit the tire. Unfortunately the people in the car are not all Talibangelicals.

(32,598 posts)Roe v. Wade was a ruling that happened nearly 50 years ago. Since then, why have there been no federal laws solidifying the reproductive rights of women? There has always been the possibility (maybe even inevitability) that Roe could be challenged and overturned by conservatives and the "religious right."
We can't sit on our asses any more, Women's Reproductive Rights must be codified into law and it must be a federal law for all Americans. Of course it's up to the Democratic Party to make sure this happens.
