(10,429 posts)leave them outside and everyone else proceed with school. When the MAGAt morons flunk out and have to repeat a grade, maybe they'll follow the rules.

(58,785 posts)Just locking them out was probably not an option.
I'm sure they're also extremely aware of the parallels between letting them in here and the events of January 6.

The Kochtopus evolved into the MAGAts and they've perfected their asshole behavior.
The right has an army of morons all over the country to mobilize whenever they want. We're truly fucked.

I don't have a minuscule fuck left for their little jimmy or julies. They bought the farm fully knowing it was on a sinkhole.

(34,066 posts)Enforcement is by the student disciplinary code/employee disciplinary policy. All violaters are subject to discipline that increases with each violation - up to and including expulsion and/or termination.
The difference is that the first step is to remove the offender from the premises by a series of increasing demands. The final step in immediate removal is to call campus police to escort them from the premises.
Here, they just shuffled them into a place where they were all isolated together. They weren't allowed to attend classes - so the equivalent of in-school suspension. Even though this is standard policy for a public school (the first step is removal from the place where they are causing trouble pending a hearing) I disagree with that for public health reasons (in my estimation this it the equivalent of threatening someone with harm - which typically permits bypassing the hold until a hearing posture). But it isn't mob rule (as suggested below).
I'll be curious to see how this plays out as discipline is meted out.
