Fascinating - albeit jargon dense - 14-tweet thread on the topic of Covid evolution/immunity.
I found it fascinating, regardless some of it being a bit over my head...
It sounds like the dominance of the Delta variant, while frightening at first, could be the key out of the pandemic. If it's likely that Delta and its sub-variants will prevail over all others, it will then be easier to develop vaccines against it, not to mention natural immunity. Also updating the vax's formula towards the direction the mutations are heading.
