Jimmy Kimmel jokes unvaccinated shouldn't get ICU bed

Jimmy Kimmel suggested during his monologue Tuesday night that people who are unvaccinated against COVID-19 should be given lower priority for Intensive Care Unit beds.

On his first night back from a months-long vacation, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host commented on the rise of coronavirus cases across the country as the delta variant spreads.

"It was not a fun Labor Day weekend COVID-wise," Kimmel said in his post-holiday monologue. "Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more overcrowded they're going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed."

He added, "That choice doesn’t seem so tough to me.
‘Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right in, we’ll take care of you.
Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy.'"

Seems like he said it in all seriousness.

And I agree with him.

You're right, he seems to have said it seriously. Don't know why the article title indicates he was making a joke.

Triage is a hard reality. I agree with him. Take the paste, go to the vet.

In the article it refers to it as a 'comment',
that he 'suggested' it ...

I think he was serious and I agree with him.
I don't think he was joking.

Especially when you have assholes who object to something as simple as a mask. Or even that other people are wearing masks.
