(9,895 posts)Fuck him and everyone else that ever accepted a role in Trump's orbit for any reason...
I don't care if my children were stricken with diseases that only Trump dollars could cure...I'd rather they live out their remaining hours knowing that evil cannot EVER be countenanced and that money is not the source of happiness, only a tool along the way - and not one worth your honor, your code or your honesty to obtain.
Spicer, the crypt-keeper lady who freaks out on her kid, the nasty thing from Arkansas that looks like the cartoon character "Droopy" if you made a wax version of it and half of it under a heat lamp too long...and the disgusting clingers-on and evil spawn can all cordially KISS MY ASS.

Plenty of statutes create terms for officers appointed by the President, e.g., a 10-year term for the Director of the FBI.
Unless the statute *also* includes removal protections, the officer still serves at the President's pleasure, and can be fired even before the term is up.

Here's the relevant statute for the Naval Academy's Board of Visitors:
https://law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/8468
Note that the statute says *nothing* about limitations on the President's power to remove those board members who were appointed by the President.
That's the key here.

(13,582 posts)Is he prepared to pay both sides legal costs when he loses? Can he even count that high?
He's "joining the lawsuit"...in other words he may not even hire a lawyer but will reap the rewards if successful. And if he does retain one, probably will be billed for just a couple of hours while everyone else does the work. But it does make for a nice sound clip.
