10. Not eating out and having more time at home to make healthier choices?

That's what did it for me... I got an elliptical and started working out every day and had more time to prepare healthy meals.

11. Good points, we always say we don't have time to be healthy.

And then when many of us had the time, we didn't use it wisely.
We just became couch potatoes, eating all the time.

I am working hard right now on a very healthy diet, and walking every day.
Going to start lifting light weights.

started regularly getting up around noon - which I had been doing, but hadn't gone further. I started making what I had been calling "dinner" my "breakfast," and grazing for the rest of the day.

And I didn't lose a phenomenal amount, but enough for about one size, and it was effortless.

And then I am also a born introvert. I never did eat out much - maybe once a year with a close friend. And I have food allergies, so watching what I eat is almost automatic.

Now that I think about it, I suppose it would be possible for many people to turn their meals around, start large and proceed to small portions through the day.

Getting more sleep suited to your body.

I have always read that having the big meal early in the day is best.

I myself don't eat after 6pm and eat two small meals.
One about noon and the other abut 5pm or so.
I never was a breakfast eater.

I am also an introvert with food allergies, so it is hard to go out to eat, and I don't really mind.

I was a lot more active before Covid, I had joined a number of activities, forced me to go out and be social.
Now I am out walking every day, around two miles a day.

Having a sweet tooth is my downfall, but now I am really trying to eliminate sugar from my diet.
Watching carbs, sticking to protein and veggies a lot.

Thanks for the info, it is helping me take some healthy steps.
