My little cousin got covid and has survived

and I am thrilled about it. Her sense of smell has come back and taste too.

She is crippled with migraines, but they run in the family, so I am not sure it is a side effect of covid.

A few years back, she and her then boyfriend purchased her 'other' grandparents house. Then he broke up with her. So now they are roommates and he brought her this infection. Fucker.

So now she has recovered, how soon is it before she can get vaccinated again? I am pretty sure she was vaccinated in the first place and that is why she could tough it out at home as opposed to being in the hospital on the vent.

She wants some of my grandmother's famous German potato salad and I'm not making it until there's a booster.

You might consider a curb side delivery of the potato salad, Mike. Hugin Sep 2021 #2

I've heard its curative.

I've kept the feedbags on my family with this method. Especially, during holidays. Last winter it was the only holiday cheer some of them had and the risk is low.

but there will NO German Potato salad until I am certain of her vaccination status.

I will send some chicken dinners and such, but Grandmom's German potato salad will NOT be made for unvaccinated folk, even if they are my relatives.

You are wise.

I was fortunate in that I was able to physically drag everyone I care about in to the vaxx sites (sometimes by the ankles. I may be old, but, I'm stringy) last Spring. Huge effort. In retrospect, totally worth it. Yeah, yeah... I'm anti-choice. So sue me. At least they're alive to do it.

I wish you luck with your cousin.

You were pretty sure she was vaccinated. She also now has natural immunity giving her the strongest combo of protection. Why are you worried?
