Recommendations for news sites.

I’m letting my NYT and WaPo subscriptions lapse.

Am looking for recommended go-to news sites. I am happy to pay for subscriptions. Just have had it with the “mainstream press “Chuck Todd” treatment of Biden

is quite good. Yes, there are stories and reporters that anger me from time to time. But, the Afghanistan coverage was horrendous on CNN and MSNBC too. Not just the major newspapers.

That said, I'd consider the Guardian as well. With the consolidation of ownership across the board, you might do more good with a subscription to your hometown's smaller newspaper.

search around and have found links to sites that include the talking heads and news and the investigative journalism sites are good.
It is ok to notice how manipulative the MSM is and not succumb to it, like that recent and unrelenting attack on Biden regarding Afghanistan.

The good thing about youtube is when you click on a link after a search it will list both similar and opposite view links along the right side. I have found many links to view there along with great interviews and lectures when searching for particular names or topics.

I haven't found a single site to provide a, just the facts, presentation of the news on a daily basis and the search usually begins with a look at 2 or 3 of the major news feeds, news.google, msn news, yahoo news, then search new stories for other sources.

It doesn't take any longer than reading to or listening to garbage sensationalize and opinion presented as news.

So yes, I spend as much time looking for a source as actually reading the information. I'm not fond of video except for interviews and lectures from people who are interesting and or important opinion influencers, special topics like economics and those daring to predict where we are headed and how to support or oppose what it is.

I don't keep a list because where I stop depends upon what is happening.
