A federal appeals court has said Indiana can continue enforcing five abortion restrictions while the state appeals the original lawsuit challenging those restrictions.
In an order issued Wednesday three judges with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals said Indiana's challenged abortion laws, which a federal judge in Indiana said were unconstitutional in August, can remain in place because the state may win its legal case in favor of those laws in the long-term.

The five restrictions that Indiana can continue to enforce are:
Only physicians can perform chemical abortions
Only hospitals or ambulatory surgical centers may provide second-trimester abortions
Patients must receive in-person counseling before an abortion
Patients must receive in-person physical examinations before an abortion
Medical staff must provide abortion services in person and not via telemedicine

Limit the pool of authorized, legal options as much as possible.

Limit the available locations and ensure that poor, non-white people lose all access.
Patients must receive in-person counseling before an abortion
Patients MUST be subjected to in-person slut-shaming and inhumane torture via "counseling".
Patients must receive in-person physical examinations before an abortion
Patients must endure unnecessary vaginal penetration as a reminder of just who is REALLY in charge of their body.

When people are operating remotely, it is far more difficult to control the setting, the tenor and the messaging that a woman in crisis receives. Control is the name of the game after all.
I have zero patience for anyone who says they are "pro-life" because in one question, I can easily dispose of their lie - "who is to care for the mother pre-birth and the baby post-birth?"
They NEVER have an answer for that...
