(6,803 posts)Millions of "good ol' boys and gals" will never forget nor forgive how OSHA took Atlanta, leaving a trail of orange barrels and yellow "work area" tape all the way to Savanna. The chickens won't lay nor the cows make milk in Vidalia even to this day. That's why they worship onions and the tracks are still "tore up".

He wants his employees to be vaccinated because the paid time off and costs to their self-funded health plan for Covid infections is KILLING him financially.
This way, he can shrug and say, "I have to do it - that guy Biden says so" and act like he hates it, but be silently thrilled.

(6,803 posts)I asked about such an outrageous thing and was told by the natives it was business as usual. At that time(late seventies)it was dismissed as just another fools errand by the crazies. They couldn't imagine how such a rag-tag bunch of kooks would ever wield real power.
Fast forward to Abbot sans his Costello.
