Half of the newstime lately is our media "remembering" 9-11. One "historian" mentioned he feared because of "polarization" America could not properly respond if we were attacked again.
Duh.
If Al Gore was president, and completely ignored repeated "Bin Laden determined to attack" warnings and an attack happened, Republicans would have hung him within 30 days.
If a Republican is president we have to come together to heal. If it is a Democrat in the White House there is a 9 alarm fire and endless attacks. Finger pointing, and investigations.
The media plays along. Always.
Always.
A week of 9-11 and not one mention of Bush.
13 heroes are lost and they release the flying monkeys.
Biden's Vietnam says the National Enquirer.
The "polarization" is caused by our pathetic right wing MSM, who seldom put anything in context, and cover for Republican traitors.
If you won't talk about Bush and warnings ignored you can't talk about 9-11. How's that new rule? I'm tired of coming together with billionaire owned Nazis who get more extreme and violent every day.

(16,917 posts)when I read that he's going to be speaking at the Memorial site where the plane went down in Pennsylvania.
Does he plan to explain why in July he ignored warnings before he went off to "clear brush" at the ranch?

(2,114 posts)The Republicans looked the other way and farted around "relaxing." They ignored warnings, and let America take a deadly punch we did not need to take. All that death and destruction is on the Republicans. Their gross negligence caused 9/11.

(415 posts)Almost everyone else pays. They either die, are wounded, lose their home and, or family. The people in the countries that started the war pay through taxes for the war, jingoistic politics, a divided country between the few who benefit, a few dupes, and the rest of the populace. Often trade in other countries can be affected and lead to global problems.
If those who started wars had to truly answer for their outcomes, and the destruction of lives and property caused by war in a world court, peace would soon breakout.

(2,664 posts)The MSM$ narrative Bush didn't do anything wrong.
The truth Bush didn't do anything about 911 despite being warned ahead of time.
The 911 commision was garbage and everybody knows it !

(56,828 posts)the special forces that we had on the ground in Afghanistan hunting for Bin Laden & Al Qaeda never would have been recalled back to the US so Bush could suck up to the Taliban. They might have gotten Bin Laden & thrown a monkey wrench into the 9/11 plans, or at least delayed the plans which could have led to the hijackers being stopped. (Remember, Ashcroft changed the focus of the FBI from stopping terrorism to stopping porn)

For the worse.
That doesn't mean it's the only thing out there though.
