Propaganda is an incredibly effective weapon against a population that is bombarded daily with nonsense from those who know exactly what they're doing and are sociopathic at best.
I will reserve my hatred for these entities.

Facebook because 10 years of largely unchecked propaganda regarding vaccines got us here (and they *STILL* are not doing anything to deplatform or debunk the people responsible). Oprah for not only promoting quack anti-vaccine "specialists" but also for giving people the idea that you could bypass traditional medicine and be your own doctor using Google.
That is a huge contributing factor to what got us here. 
Using Google for “Why does X hurt” or “do I have Y disease” would have happened with or without Oprah. I have never watched her show and am not a member of her media universe. I play Google Doctor just fine on my own 
I do learn about the alignments from Google but every time I think I have nailed it the Doctor (who is trained unlike myself) comes in and says nope it this other thing - not even close. I have given up trying to play Doctor with myself 
But Oprah did promote a lot of anti-vaccine garbage and junk science on her show, not to mention unleashing Dr. Phil on us (or as Lewis Black calls him, Dr. Fuck Phil) we can''t let her get away with that!
