Alaska state Sen. Lora Reinbold (R) “has asked to be excused from legislative business in the state Capitol, telling fellow lawmakers that her ban from Alaska Airlines” for refusing to wear a mask “makes it impossible to fly into Juneau,” the Anchorage Daily News reports.

There is no overland road access from Reinbold’s district to the state capital in Juneau.

however, it would take four days to make the trip. Hopefully the voters will provide a permanent excuse to miss votes in the Legislature after November 2022.
