Rachel is doing a story right now

about dogs who can sniff out the Covid virus with an accuracy rate in the 90%s. They are using them in the Miami airport. For now, they are using them on employees reporting for work.

My question is how long until DeSantis bans the use of them?

dog in Florida would be? Poor thing would be smelling bullshit non stop. And put that dog at one of those CPAC or trump gatherings……….poor pup would hyperventilate and collapse from uncontrolled sinus and brain swelling.

I remember a study just a few years ago where dogs were sniffing out cancer at a 99% accuracy rate. That pretty much beats out what a lab can do...

accuracy rate of detecting Covid on the masks worn by people in the test population. The other dog had a slightly lower rate.

The legislature there is calling a special session. Their solution is to ban hospitals from mandating their doctors and nurses get vaccines. They want more COVID to overwhelm more hospitals that are already in dire straits.

are preventing these tests with dogs from being widespread. Seems like they wouldn't be very profitable...

He might even show old pics, during civil rights protests, of dogs being used to attack and intimidate the protestors.

Not that they're comparable at all, but it's the kind of nonsense that right-wingers do.

Does anyone know if DeSantis would have standing to tell them they can't do that?

For that matter, who owns that airport? Does DeathSantis have jurisdiction over the place, and if not, who does?

there. But he's had all kinds of orders reversed and it hasn't stopped him from issuing more. He either doesn't have very good legal counsel or doesn't listen to them.
