Texas Land of Freedumb

So we are on the road, heading to Minnesota to visit my 92-year old Mom.

Yesterday we drove into Texas.

You know Texas, right?

They're way agin "mandates" there (always excepting mandating what uppity wimmins can do with their ladyparts, of course, but that don't count.)

They're dead set agin vaccine mandates.

And agin tellin' anyone who can and can't pack heat.

'sall about the FREEDUMB, right?

So we're about 1/4 mile into Texas past the "Welcome to Texas" sign, when a coupla BIG signs appear next to the highway.

Big ones, yep.

And what do they say?

"CLICK IT OR TICKET! (pic of seatbelt buckle, fastened) IT'S THE LAW!"

Esposo turns to me, sez, "Waitaminnit... ain't that a mandate?"

tsk-tsk... Walk it, don't talk it, neighbors.

amusedly,
Bright
