it’s time for me to repost, again, one of my all-time favorite YouTube videos: a compilation of clips from the 2004 Republican National Convention, which gives some idea of how that so-called “unity” was used to crush anyone who dared to hold an anti-war opinion.

(In case you forgot, the RNC was held in NYC that year in a shameless effort to exploit 9/11.)

If we are going to remember the events of 9/11 every year, we should also remember how politicians callously and shamelessly used that day for political advantage ad nauseam.

Meanwhile, people keep posting their "Never forget" memes all over social media, like that is even possible.

"capitalize" on headlines to con shallow idiots in order to gain and keep power and wealth for themselves.

Latest example: GQP politicians including a fake former President "capitalize" on headlines surrounding a deadly pandemic in order to gain and keep power and wealth for themselves.
