The Texas legislature is on a roll. I'm half expecting them to introduce ant-miscegenation laws

Maybe throw in separate but equal public accommodations laws for good measure. After all it’s “tyranny” to be force to businesses to serve people that you just don’t like. And what about schools? Make see if the court will overturn Brown vs Board of Education? They just might.

at the state level. We all know what you get when that happens at the national level.

As someone said - "The government you elect is the government you deserve."

by redefining it to the point where it isn't even possible to charge anyone with it.

That will take a little time, to close all those loopholes victims would "exploit" to keep them from "ending rape".

It is shockingly a realistic prospect to watch out for from these goons.

Don't count victims of various disasters and pandemics and those crises go away. Narrowly define crimes and they are dealt with. Success by definition would seem to completely be TX's MO at the moment.

What are these guys? Insurance salesmen?

legislate it out of legal existence.

And these assholes are craven enough to do so. Look at, well, anything Abbot has ever said and it is pretty clear that he never had a moral compass at all.
