I’m just supposed to forget the other 385 days a year these people do everything they can to make my life worse just because today is September 11th? To hell with that.
DeSantis, Abbott, and Noem have killed more people combined than Osama bin Laden ever did multiple times over, but I’m just supposed to pretend this isn’t the case because today is September 11th? They can take their phony condolence tweets for the victims and shove it firmly up their assholes.
Republican voters tried to overthrow our country’s government because their guy didn’t win the election. Said guy and his minions incited this disgusting act of treason and, to this day, are still welcomed with open arms by their party. I’m supposed to mentally block this just because today is September 11th? Fuck no.
I do everything I can within my limited power to fight back against the destructive, regressive, selfish, sociopathic, evil policies of the Republican Party and I’m not going to pretend like they’re my friends just because today is September 11th. Despite the name, we’re clearly not a united country anymore and I won’t pretend otherwise just because of a calendar day.
