The paranoids, the sociopaths, the psychopaths, the Nazi wannabees, and so many more, have all been a part of the Republican Party that they've managed to keep locked in a closet for decades. Then, one ignorant, arrogant, incompetent buffoon gets hold of the keys to the closet, unlocks it, and turns all of them loose on all of us.

In effect, TFG tore the mask off the Republican Party and revealed them as a fascist/criminal gang of vicious thugs who are now a deadly threat to democracy, all of our freedoms, and the very concepts for which America stands.

If lightening hit TFG tomorrow, it wouldn't matter. There's no pushing the crazed mob back to the fringe. They are now the mainstream of the Republican Party and even "sane" Republicans have to make believe they believe in the virtues of all the snake oil being peddled to the rubes.

Rachel Maddow has described them as "Earth 2."

We here on Earth 1, the real world, are now faced with a country gone mad, and the possibility that they can come to full power. Yet, I don't hear any sirens, alarms, or emergency alerts regarding the reality that we are under full scale assault.

Twenty years ago, we were attacked by foreign terrorists and then went to war ... with the wrong people. Today, we are under attack by home-grown terrorists and we know who they are. And our elected Democratic representatives are doing ...? I'm not sure how to answer that. Maybe some of you can help me figure out exactly what it is they are doing.

4. Zombie uprising. They're coughing in your face in supermarkets,

they're screaming and growling on airplanes, they're laughing at teenagers who mourn the loss of family at public forums, they're carrying guns into state capitol buildings, and so on. The rules are gone, it's a free-for-all.

of civil society. TFG was taught by his father that he had to kill his opponent and that is what he has done. He did not fit in to civil society so he had to destroy it with racism, corporate power, ignorance, lies, and all the other worst instincts of humans.
