Macias’ brother, Vong Serey, told the San Bernardino Sun last month that his sister was not vaccinated against COVID-19, and was hesitant to get the shot because she was pregnant. She was a nurse in the labor and delivery ward at Kaiser Fontana Medical Center and had worked throughout the pandemic, he said.

that the vax safe for pregnant women and their babies not made until she was already ill. She was

25. I don't believe CDC had announced. Many nurses were wary of the vaccine. They have had

experience with medical misinformation, hospital error, flawed studies, and are well aware of how the profit motive corrupts. I just can not vilify this nurse in the face of news reports I read about her. Had she been a “best the libs at all cost—even my baby’s welfare” I would feel differently. But she is simply a person who made a very poor decision that had tragic results.
