made a straight line for lower manhatten that day. With all the tunnels, bridges, subways closed it was a mess to get the hell out of there. Lots of heroes that day, for sure. That's when I get tears, when I hear of the brave, selfless actions that so many performed that day. Not just the guys on flight 93 but all of the people who just helped someone/anyone who needed help. Strangers helping strangers.

I got emotional when all the ferries and tugs rushed to help the people off the plane that landed in the Hudson.
