Manchin must be thinking progressives in the House will vote for the bipartisan bill, but I don't think they will, and we get nothing.

This better just be an extreme negotiation tactic to get it down to 3 or 2.8 or something and not really his plan or he's f'd us all.

About the bipartisan bill, how much that translates to him giving on reconciliation remains to be seen but 1-1.5 billion won't get progressives to vote for it in the House.
