Hi, all. I need some help.

I have been assigned the task of finding and setting up a remote meeting option to expand our reach for a meeting tomorrow evening.

Our group leader has chosen Google Meet as our virtual option. I have no experience with this application. I am looking for helpful suggestions or critique on Google Meet.

I'm also seeking suggestions of any other apps we could use to connect our in person group with our virtual group.

How easy is Google Meet to use?

How does it compare to Zoom?

Any glitches?

Any other apps that are better?

I'm interested in any suggestions on other meeting apps, preferably free, that provide at least an hour of time.

Any suggestions or help with this is greatly appreciated. TIA.

2. It's our default meeting tool.

It’s not bad, and many enhancements have been pushed out over the past year. I like Zoom best, but Google Meet is quite serviceable.

3. We use Meet for our family video chats

We were using Google Hangout and kind of stumbled on Meet. It's a bit easier to everyone to access and there's no time limit, like free Zoom.

I don't know about file sharing on it, e.g. showing a Power Point, but for just getting to see our kids and grandbaby, it's great.
