1. I wish we could have Candy Crowley moderate Monday's debate

She's been the most effective moderator in controlling the candidates so far. I wouldn't mind if they let her do more real-time fact checking.

I don't find it at all surprising the RW went ballistic about her. I saw so many of them say that fact checking shouldn't be done real-time, it should be done after the event. Well of course that's what they want. 70 million people may watch the debate live but only a fraction of those people will ever see the fact checking that proves Romney is a pathological liar and most of those people are people like us here on DU who probably were screaming at the TV in real-time because we already knew what he was saying was a lie.

So fact checking after the event really plays in the favor of the lying candidate - Romney/Ryan.
