It seems to me that nothing will convince these people to get vaccinated. My own aunt, who is advanced in age, makes up all excuses not to get it. She's perfectly happy to not be joining in family functions all summer. I've tried to convince her several times to vaccinate to no fruition.

These people have drunk the TFG (in my case, That F*ing Grifter's) Kool-aid. Although, my aunt is not politically inclined, she's believed everything the orange masses are parroting.

Let them have their hoax virus and forgo the medical help for the unvaccinated. Better yet, let the unvaccinated nurses, work in the units for unvaccinated patients in auxillary tents. They've used up enough resources of good vaccinated professionals, medical people whom they don't trust in the first place and are putting at risk of breakthrough infections. I don't think they deserve any help.

I'm so sick of the unvaxxed, I don't have any empathy left for their families when they pass from their own stupidity. And worse, they've infected my kind Aunt with their dumb lies, she's turned into a recluse and I blame the MAGATs. The sad thing is, it will be a matter of time when she get infected and she doesn't care because she's old, she says -worse excuse ever.

3. If it weren't for all of the hospital beds they're wasting...

...medical staff they are burning out, and the excess exposure risk they're causing the everyone else (big for the immunocompromised, some of who can't get vaccinated even if they want to be, and small, but still bigger than it should be for the vaccinated), and the potential for breeding new more dangerous variants... I'd happily leave these idiots to their own devices.

But since the anti-vaxxers aren't just hurting themselves, we've still got to try to improve the situation as best as we can.

Start acting like the normal people are the ones who should have rights, not the crazy ones.

12. They should lose their jobs and their health insurance - that's another big motivator

The largest employers of the USA need to make Covid vaccination mandatory, and many are beginning to take this step. The insurance companies need to raise premiums on unvaccinated Americans, or throw them into the assigned risk pool which means the unvaccinated pay the highest rates.

The failure of these people to get vaccinated is costing the rest of us way too much.

I can muster more sympathy for vaccine refusers who social distance and wear masks. The really horrible ones are those refusing to get vaccinated, wear masks, and go about their daily activities like Covid doesn't even exist.
