8. That's artifact. That happens sometimes.

These weird zigzags show up from time to time. All it takes is one wrong datapoint. In this case, AF1's location was reported as a few miles north of McCook, Nebraska. Then it was back to normal. First AF1 looked as if it zigged; then it looked as if it zagged.

In a few minutes, the actual route will reappear. Oh, it already has.

Just hit the radar screen a few times. Those couldn't really be Zeros headed in to Pearl Harbor.
