because a Thumper leaked stuff from machines in CO.
However, some election cybersecurity experts called upon Weber to conduct a "statewide post-election risk-limiting audit" in a letter sent to Weber's office earlier this month, the AP reported. That letter also referenced Dominion due to reports last month that a version of the company's election management system was shared during an event hosted by Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow and another of Trump's supporters.

So one of their own does the leaking and then they claim the leak from CO affects the machines in CA.

(38,556 posts)Dominion used to work w/ Smartmatic. Smartmatic once supplied the technology for an election in Venezuela.
Chavez reported false election results and Smartmatic called him out on it. Somehow the Kraken folks managed to twist this story into Smartmatic helped Chavez "rig" the election.
Even though Smartmatic and Dominion haven't worked together in over a decade, the GOP continues to insist that they're in cahoots when it comes to election rigging, and bringing in the Chavez narrative just makes them both look "guilty" in the eyes of people who are buying the GOP narrative.

(4,392 posts)Also recall re election machine companies and that "kernel of truth" in the CTs that ensued: they need to stay off small (or large) planes (no matter bad weather conditions); such has claimed "heros(?)" of music, politics, and software "gurus."

So, yup, you are correct - this is rich - even with facts that there are now "hackers," "trojan horses," "flash drives that hold .exc files" and (sort of) paper trails in the real and digital world where machines count votes, LOL! This Dude's comments show the danger of "AI." LOL!

(10,136 posts)so even if they use the same ballots, processes, and equipment they're not linked. And most of the vote comes in on paper, so there is a trail.
I smell desperation from someone who's sure they're going to lose - I hope!
