Kimberly Klacik Says It Is 'Socialism' to Share Remaining Cash From $8M Campaign With Fellow Repubs

Failed Republican candidate Kimberly Klacik has refused to share the remaining funds from the $8 million she raised during her campaigns with other GOP contenders and said such calls were "socialism."

In a video uploaded onto Twitter on Sunday, Klacik, 39, said she would not share any of the money she raised with other Republican candidates who she said "didn't work as hard."

Speaking inside a car, Klacik said in the 28-second clip: "So, those of you that are mad that I made $8 million in my campaign, well I worked really hard and that's how we made that money.

"There are other candidates that didn't make that money because they didn't work as hard. But, I know you want me - for some reason - to redistribute that wealth from my campaign to other candidates that have more of a winnable district."

I don't know who the hell she is but I find her comments funny. Selfishness is a virtue among Republicans.

however, I don't think that is how it works. Otherwise she could be in big trouble if she spends it however she thinks she can spend it.

"keep all money for one's self)...

What surprises me is that the republicans asking for this extra money of her failed campaign already know of this well known republican character trait and still asked her for the money anyways.

Just guessing that she's already grabbed some of this extra money for her personal use and have covered her tracks so to speak (illegally of course). No wonder she's resisting in sharing the money because she then has to account for the missing funds that she's already misspent (IMHO)...

A fitting attribute for such a failed candidate, eh?

Former Republican Party candidate for Congress for Maryland’s 7th Congressional District, Kimberly Klacik, is facing strong accusations about her past and possible fraud with campaign funds. The accusations are being leveled by none other than influential conservative personality and Daily Wire’s host, Candace Owens.

She probably believes it's her's to spend how she wants.

Kimberly Klacik, a former Republican congressional candidate in Maryland, is suing conservative commentator Candace Owens for $20 million in damages over an Instagram video Owens made in June in which she alleged Klacik had committed campaign fraud, money laundering, illegally used drugs and was a “madame” of a strip club, according to court documents.

The lawsuit, filed in Baltimore County Circuit Court, alleges Klacik lost a book deal, had politicians cancel fundraising appearances with her and lost a contract with a “nationally recognized vendor,” after Owens posted the video June 22. In the 44-minute Instagram live video, Owens said Klacik’s charity Potential Me was illegitimate, that Klacik was a stripper at a club owned by her husband and that she misused campaign funds, according to the lawsuit.

Klacik ran unsuccessfully against Baltimore Democratic Rep. Kweisi Mfume for a seat in the U.S. House in 2020.
