the details of that withdrawal. In the case of Trump and Afghanistan, it would have been helpful to have the Republican Senators on his side to approve early Visas for Afghanistan allies.
Once again, the Republican party was allowed to talk out of both sides of its mouth.
On edit: You all do realize that there is American precedent for forcing contracts without full participation from the presumed ally country? The contract between the US and Columbia in 1903, which gave Panama its independence and allowed America a strong presence in the Isthmus, was not signed by anyone representing the country of Panama. The first leader of the country was just invited to the signing.
Look how well that turned out.
