Judge blocks medical worker vaccine mandate in NY state

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the state of New York from forcing medical workers to be vaccinated after a group of health care workers sued, saying their Constitutional rights were violated


The judge gave New York state until Sept. 22 to respond to the lawsuit in federal court in Utica. If the state opposes the plaintiffs' request for a preliminary court order blocking the vaccine mandate, a Sept. 28 oral hearing will occur. -snip--

In their lawsuit, health care professionals disguised their identities with pseudonyms such as “Dr. A.,” “Nurse A.,” and “Physician Liaison X.”

They cited violations of the U.S. Constitution, along with the New York State Human Rights Law and New York City Human Rights Law, because the state Department of Health regulation requiring workers to get the vaccine provided no exemption for “sincere religious beliefs that compel the refusal of such vaccination.”

The court papers said all of the available vaccines employ aborted fetus cell lines in their testing, development or production.

The lawsuit said the plaintiffs wanted to proceed anonymously because they “run the risk of ostracization, threats of harm, immediate firing and other retaliatory consequences if their names become known.”

The plaintiffs, all Christians, included practicing doctors, nurses, a nuclear medicine technologist, a cognitive rehabilitation therapist and a physician's liaison who all oppose as a matter of religious conviction any medical cooperation in abortion, the lawsuit said.

It added that they are not “anti-vaxxers” who oppose all vaccines.

2. Oh for Pete's sake

Every job I've ever had came with certain requirements as a condition of employment. I didn't always agree with them, but if I wanted to work, I had to comply. Mandatory drug tests are a far greater violation of a person's constitutional rights than a free vaccination during a global pandemic.

6. When my twin grandsons were born a bit early,

no one was allowed in the ward who had not gotten a flu vaccine - not family or hospital staff. I doubt anyone raised a stink about that. I cannot imagine any nurse or doctor endangering their patients unnecessarily during a pandemic.

So are all these people going to stop using, Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Aspirin, Sudafed, Benadryl, Claritin, Robitussin, Mucinex, Tums, Maalox, Ex-Lax, Pepto-Bismol, Preparation H, Albuterol (ProAir and Ventolin), Ivermectin (that one cracked me up). That is just a few of the more common ones.

Basically, almost any medication you find in your medicine cabinet would fall into that same category. One over-the-counter drug was found to have not been tested on the HEK-293 derivative cell lines. Simethicone/Gas-X/Infacol/Wind-eze/Windsetlers. This drug never enters the cells and was not tested on HEK-293 directly.

These people's hypocrisy is only surpassed by their ignorance. Maybe THEY should do their research before they start crying "religious exemption".

its time to just ignore the courts.
start firing unvaxxed workers.

without the executive branch to enforce their orders they are pretty powerless

5. I haven't heard of a vaccine mandate that doesn't allow

regular testing as an option. Except maybe the military. I'm not sure about that one.

Jesus wants us ALL vaccinated. He told me so himself!
