(268,846 posts)The model tracks have eased my worries - won't be coming West - the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico should be spared this round.

A music competition held during Independence Celebrations - LOL - we never really liked the song but loved the video. The first one was won by Toots and the Maytals Bam Bam. That was great music.

(57,370 posts)For me, in Alexandria, Virginia, there will be an outstanding sighting on Friday evening.
80 degrees maximum azimuth is great for sightings.

(268,846 posts)That was cool for me but even cooler for my neighbors' three kids.

(24,262 posts)I see it a few times a month. I could see it more if I was willing to stay up later or get up earlier.

(34,133 posts)I can't name any right now - my phone is out of juice in the other room - but I have one and my sister has a different one.
You put it on your phone and give it access to your location. It will let you know when the ISS will be visible and a rough idea of what the track will be - as in NW to SE. The one my sister has even gives you a star field with an overlay of the ISS track so you can locate it easily.
More than once my sister has dragged me out into a mosquito laden Florida night to watch the ISS go by.
