Madison Cawthorn showed up at the Johnston, NC school board meeting tonight, and told them to defy Gov Cooper’s mask mandate. He says “the left doesn’t believe in science,” because AOC didn’t wear a mask at the Met Gala.

Not even remotely necessary concept to understand the world.

BTW...if anyone is thinking "but what about meaning to your life then?"...know this - EVERY human being is capable of building and embracing their own unique 'purpose' in life and no external wizard or super hero or deity is required. Live a life of embracing fairness, exhibiting empathy to others, and loving your friends and family...the happiness you will create in the lives of others is contribution enough to justify a life well lived.

If you believe otherwise - have at it hoss, not my business to convert you from your whatever colored sky world you hang your hat in; but there is no award ceremony at the end of this ride. No one will care about status symbols or property or possessions you rent on your stay in the world; and within 100 years of your death, the homo sapiens species (if it manages to survive that long) will have forgotten nearly every single detail of your existence...so seeking a purpose externally is futile. The only thing that lives on beyond us is the impact we have on others - good or bad. Choosing selfish aims wins selfish prizes - ignominy eternal.

As soon as 'the right' rejects "gawd", stops using the concept as a cudgel on others and admits that prayer is a futile gesture, as well as antithetical to 'gawd's plan'; and embraces evolution along with the reality that 'gawd' did not sacrifice himself to himself, to be able to forgive a rib woman for deceiving the clay man and getting dinner ready by handing over the 'forbidden fruit' of the tree of knowledge, then I'm game to listen to more from young Professor X knock off...but not one second sooner...
