"SNIP......

New Hampshire state Rep. William Marsh said he had formally left the Republican Party in protest of what he said was an emerging strain of anti-vaccination rhetoric coming from state House leaders, The Hill reports.

Said Marsh: “I have come to realize a majority of Republicans, both locally and in the New Hampshire House, hold values which no longer reflect traditional Republican values.”

Independents are ok. Sad to say that the top of our country's legislature are slimy evil-doers.

were to become independents, they could effectively control the Senate. They are missing a huge opportunity.

Tell me what DEMOCRATS WOULD?

you're a dem in a red state. You gonna back the independent that LEFT the republican party, INSTEAD of voting for the dem primary nominee?

If you're willing to answer 'yes', then the Lincoln Project AND MAYBE the 50-State Strategy would like to hear from you. The Democratic Party?....probably not so much lol.

Oh, and Mitt Romney is gonna send you ALL of the emails lol, just sayin hahaha....

like someone else said. They are trying to be as white as snow by rejecting the obvious malfeasance if Trump and his base. Their problem with it for them is that it is obvious how they hurt people now and not polite like how they used to go about it.

As in moving ones bowels...because the result is the same. REAL conservatism is about keeping the ship steady DESPITE the iceberg in front of you, because you believe you built the ship well enough to handle the hit.

Movement Conservativiam does NOT EXIST without Uncle Pat, Handmaids Tale, and Shock Doctrine 'capitalism'.

Bush the Elder, KNEW this. He was the last 20th century conservative. There IS NO 21st century equalivant YET.

Maybe he's new and doesn't realize the Republican conception of "personal responsibility" is not a code to live by but rather a cudgel.

I don't know the guy, but leaving the party because it no longer represents what they say the believe is the first step for an honest person.

From an interview on PBS:

"America has never lost a war." Well, if you were raised to believe in the lost cause myth of the American Confederacy, THATS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.'

And then I got it. Schmidt is a political genius of the very first order. He recalls a tale of the losing McCain campaign against Obama where Palin wanted to give the concession speech, instead of John. He said

'My last act as campaign manager was to order that stage tech to kill the lights and mics if she tried to walk out onto that stage.'

He might be a conservative. But he IS a patriot. And Rick Wilson iant ANYONE I would want mad at me; that man is a true Master of his Craft lol.

For the time being, I'm glad they're on our side (sort of lol)

When he admits that he was willingly and knowingly lying to the American public to earn a buck, then he can say he's honest.

The party knows without changing their views on issues they have no chance to expand their members. And since they have no desire to modify their views, restrictions for voting, increasing difficulty of voting, and reversing results is all they have left to hold on to power.

They will stop at nothing and I don’t think we have seen the worst of their behavior yet.
