Ted Nugent on the Discovery Channel

Evidently, the Discovery Channel is broadcasting a show called Ted Nugent's Gun Country. A petition has been started on change.org demanding that the show be cancelled or that the network will face a massive boycott. The link for the petition is:

Murdoch (and News Corp.) do not own Discovery. In fact I'm unaware of them having any stake in Discovery. The largest shareholder is the Newshouse family, which owns Advance Communications.

I have no patience with, nor sympathy for people who come on this board and proclaim "facts" without the slightest regard for whether they are true or not. And you shouldn't have patience with it or sympathy for it either, not if you want this board to be a place where people can come for reliable information.

6. I used to love the Discovery Channel.

They had so many great shows about science and nature - but now it's mostly a bunch of lame, cheap reality shows. A show about guns and Ted Nugent just about hits rock bottom.
