Remember when MittLIES sought the approval of Billy Graham last week?

Not sure who made the first phone call but I have to assume it was Romney calling on Graham begging him to help him shore up the Fundie vote.

Found the story on WRAL's website but it wasn't the story that I wanted to check out, it was the comments. Especially the comments from the typical teabilly racists that inhabit WRAL's online comment sections.

He's a fake like Romney- notice only AFTER they conned Romney into a meeting did they decide to take down the info calling Mormons a "cult". He still feels the same way about Mormons, but Romney must have promised something in return- it's all about business and religion is a business....it's just not taxed.

No disrespect to anyone's faith but I hope you are aware that Romney went to visit Graham to maniuplate him and so he can get the vote of the church because people tend to listen to religious and political leaders. It's been that way since the beginning of time. This is not Graham's original endorsement. He originally stated that Mormons are cult members and since Romney is a Mormon he should've stuck with his true beliefs. Now Graham looks like a liar. Romney went and maniuplated that man by dangling tax cuts in his face, plain & simple. It's all about the Benjamins baby. Don't be fooled.

They can't even be honest and say "a statement was issued on his behalf." It has to look like it 'came down from a mountain top.' You won't convince me he's lucid enough at this point, and mere photographs don't count.

IOW if he's saying it, he should be on camera saying it.

Billy Graham had Mormons listed as a cult on his website for years. It has conviently been taken off so he and his son can justify voting for Romney. I have no respect for someone who changes what they have believed for years for this. I find it very difficult to believe that their views on Mormonism has changed that drastically. When they say 'Biblical Values' they are only talking about the ones they care about-not the entire things. Sorry Billy-but what respect I once had for you, you have destroyed.

Whether Mormonism can be considered a cult is not the issue here.

The issue is do we need to give serious consideration to an endorsement from someone who previously insinuated the Mormon faith was a cult but after meeting with someone from that faith for a few hours basically rescinded the cult label and now appears to embrace it?

So Mr Graham had an epiphany about religious tolerance? Or maybe just about how influential his endorsement can be? Why do we want to listen to someone who becomes tolerant [read wishy-washy] when it suits THEIR needs?

Region and our Government, according to our CONSERVATIVE fore-fathers, were to remain SEPARATE!!!

Always have adored Billy Graham, but he may have shown a real human weakness...What else has he preached about all these years that we may change his mind about?!?

Sad day to see Billy Graham or rather his son Franklin now supporting the Morman belief. It is like spitting in the face of all Christians. This isn't the Billy Graham I knew back in the day. Well Billy and Frank... I will uphold my Christian beliefs and won't be voting for Romney or Mormonism.

Cult......or not the same as Just Jesus Christ alone nothing more nothing less.

Seems to be a bit of a Romney/Mormon/Xian problem with some of Mitt's pigeon flock.................

May mean absolutely nothing but I found it just a little interesting.
