With more than 50% of the votes in, Newsom is over SEVENTY PERCENT, and trump lite....

....Larry Elder, is 14th on Question 2!

This is hysterical, but what a freaking waste of time and money.

Best thing is that republicans have been humiliated tonight!!!

Elder 14th so far on question 2? BIG rejection by my home state. Great! Hortensis Sep 2021 #2
Yes, he's at about 3% with half the votes counted. That's probably even better than Newsom winning. George II Sep 2021 #6

It's great that Elder, the GQP favorite, wad 14th! They always back the biggest losers. Not the brightest bunch.

Looks like most were not happy with Elder's xenophobia and racism. I'm sure even conservatives had no problem recognizing "immigrants" are also proxies for themselves in Republican slurs.

The California Secretary of State website is reporting as of 8:30 PST under 17 percent have partially reported results.

And Elder is leading the pack among the repub wannabes by a huge margin.

It won't matter, because Newsom will win, but you're numbers are off base by a lot.

Someone posted in another thread, why don't we Dems living in states with Repug governors not start a recall on each one of them. My response was because even with evil people like Abbott, DeSantis and Noem doing really stupid vile things, if an election was held tomorrow, if it is likely they would win and the recall fails, the Dems damage their brand, frustrate voters and probably do even less well in the next regular election. Now, maybe, if there was a super compelling Dem candidate, maybe worth the risk, but unlikely.

compared to the 5.76 million saying "no" to the 1st recall question (64.6%). Next biggest is Paffrath at 0.49 million.
