(3,013 posts)I would be careful and hope the Dems don't see this as very much a "be all, end all" that they don't need to keep working or can coast. I think it's gotta be get more good stuff done in Congress and the Senate and make positive changes that people are pleased by. If we aren't moving the agenda forward, we are losing.

(3,013 posts)because why stop lying now? Granted, a much less potent effort than having swung CA Republican and the 2 to 1 victory is resounding. But Newsom needs to be on point and not pull some other stupid French Laundry faux pas or that will give the Repugs even more ammunition of "see what happens when you leave the Dems in office?".

(68,560 posts)I think it may be...the GOP has done what many complacent women thought would never happen...basically made abortion illegal in some states...and Roe hangs by a thread...they are the dogs who caught a car...now what. And they are coming for birth control. I expect many women will rise up in 'flaming rebellion' in 22 and 24.

Bigly rain in the forecast. Rather than pitching a Loser Tantrum between the raindrops and their whiney teardrops on Saturday, the anti-American Sunshine Traitors (R) would be better off, and at least dry, if they stay holed up in mom's basement.
