Have you seen any polling on the Libya matter?

I just can't believe that many people are interested in the semantics of this.

And yet talking heads (even mainstream) are spending a lot of time on it and predicting it will bring more trouble ahead for Obama.

How many voters would be swayed by this manufactured problem?

How many women (target and critical demographic) would base their vote on this issue?

I think it's a time waster. (Which may be Romney's strategy. The more time he spends attacking even if the attack is useless, the less time he has to defend himself.)

2. Republicans don't care about how many voters care. What they do know is that if they repeat

a lie long enough, that lie starts to produce benefits for them. The Carl Rove playbook isn't about whether something matters in a broader sense, his singular focus is how he can exploit an issue. President Obama must be prepared for Romney's bullshit on Monday and has a convincing account of circumstances in Libya for the american people that will be watching the debate.

... but not by much. I have also seen polling showing the presidents numbers on foreign affairs down after the Libya thing.
