Some thoughts about the CA recall

First, it appears that Gustavo Arellano's (he, of the former OC Weekly Ask a Mexican column) warning that Latinos would vote YES,
as they are angry at Newsom, did not materialize.

Second, I was fascinated by Steve Kornacki data comparing the recall results with the 2020 Presidential results. They were almost identical.

To me, it suggests that with all the talk of Biden's lower approval rating, that he is still strong in California.

I lived in California in the 90s and was amazed how San Diego, Orange, the Inland Empire San Bernardino and Riverside counties are now blue

Last, with a tongue in cheek, I have had my doubts at Newsome's judgement, being married to Kimberly Guilfoyle.. Is she still with Junior or has she decided that she needs a larger arena for he shouts?

The City has a Democratic Mayor and City Council. The County has a Democratic Board and Supervisor.

Thanks god!

Probably the best State response in the nation.
